Me Day

It's a "me" day today! Yay!

I don't get these too often, but its a long weekend and there isn't a whole lot of reason to be doing anything than enjoying the weather and relaxing. So, Joanne can come out to play!

As I mentioned, I don't normally do my nails, but today I felt like going the extra mile on this one and did my nails. I'm actually quite impressed with how they come out, especially my right hand which is being done by non-dominant hand. I think it came out better than my left hand, go figure!

Anyways, I couldn't let all this effort go to waste and, searching for an excuse to try out one of my birthday presents, I did take a few photos (stupid tan lines, sigh).

Now, if I only looked as good as the Snapchat filters make me!

The expression "identifies as" gets used a lot when talking about trans and non-binary people. It's also used by a lot of bigots to denigrate the trans experience. It's an expression that I would like to see fade away.

What does dysphoria feel like to me?
