It's Rainbow Capitalism Season

Always fun to watch an iconic shopping centre celebrate the opening of an anti-LGBTQ+ business on the eve of Pride, a mere 8 days after they pretended to care about us on IDAHOBIT.

All Set!

With my surgery date a mere 3 weeks away as of Monday, I'm all set to go.

What-to-Wear Panic

I am amazed, but it seems that I have this "what I am going to wear?" panic in spades (sometimes literally, given my addiction to Kate Spade) and it's cropped up a few times recently.

Eaton Centre tells us we're not welcome

When I talk about inclusion in my workplace, I talk a lot about how the space I have worked in was inclusive. From gender neutral (and not repurposing) bathrooms to Pride related content, and more, the space was designed to be inclusive of my community. Enter Cadillac Fairview's Eaton Centre.

New Kicks!

Doubtless

Sometimes the best way to address your doubts and fears to get back on the horse and try again. So I did. 😍

Cute Sneaks

Shopping again... Aren't these the cutest?

Finally found my foundation!

Ever wondered how to shop online as your lovely self? There's a way and it's called, in the credit card industry, the authorized user. What is that you say? It's simple... An authorized user is basically a second card on your account where you simply need to provide some basic information, such as first, last, date of birth, and the like, but don't specifically have to provide additional identity information. Why? Because the credit is still only extended to the primary card holder, they're just authorizing another person to make use of it and thus they still hold liability. That means that the credit card issuer doesn't care and doesn't have a legal obligation, known as KYC, to confirm. So, needless to say, I have a credit card as lil' ole me, set up with Paypal as well, that lets me shop online for lots of clothing, shoes, and other feminine products as Joanne and have them sent to my home address. For spendier items, where you need a signature, ...
